Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Work Permit Receiver will handle approved work permits, communicate permit conditions to work teams, and ensure that activities remain within the authorized scope and safety requirements. The Generator Operator will operate and monitor generators, perform routine checks, and report mechanical or operational problems promptly. Flagmen will control and guide vehicles and equipment movement around the worksite while maintaining safe distances between workers and machinery. Helpers will support skilled workers with material handling, tools, housekeeping, and general site duties. All employees are expected to follow site safety procedures, use required PPE, and cooperate with supervisors throughout the project.
Required Skills and Qualifications
WPR candidates should have relevant industrial experience and must meet the stated profession requirement of Supervisor. They should understand permit-to-work procedures, hazard controls, site safety rules, and effective communication with work crews. Generator Operators should have practical experience operating and monitoring generators and understand basic equipment safety and inspection procedures. Flagmen should be alert and capable of safely directing vehicles and equipment. Helpers should be physically fit and able to follow instructions.
