Safety Officer and Work Permit Receiver (WPR)

Al-Mutairi Trading Est. is urgently recruiting qualified candidates for Safety Officer and Work Permit Receiver (WPR) positions for a project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Three vacancies are available for each category, offering opportunities for professionals holding the required Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) approval. Safety Officers will receive SAR 20 per hour, while WPRs will receive SAR 19 per hour. The assignment is offered on a room-to-room duty basis, with salary payment stated as two months and twenty days. Candidates must have valid Iqama documentation and provide the required employment and medical records. The recruitment specifically requires an original passport and a medical report containing a QR code. Interested candidates should review the requirements carefully and contact the recruitment representatives for further information and application instructions.

Key Responsibilities

Safety Officers will monitor workplace conditions, identify potential hazards, conduct regular safety inspections, and ensure workers follow approved safety procedures and PPE requirements. They may participate in toolbox meetings, safety briefings, incident reporting, risk assessments, and daily site observations. Work Permit Receivers will manage work-permit activities by reviewing approved permits, communicating permit conditions to work crews, confirming required safety controls, and coordinating with supervisors and permit issuers. They must ensure that work begins only after the necessary authorization and safety precautions are in place. Both positions require close coordination with site management and other departments. Personnel must report unsafe conditions, stop or escalate activities when permit or safety requirements are not being followed, and maintain accurate documentation throughout the project.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Applicants for the Safety Officer position must possess valid SEC approval and relevant industrial safety experience. WPR candidates must similarly hold SEC approval and understand permit-to-work procedures, hazard controls, isolation requirements, and safe work practices. Both categories require candidates who can communicate effectively with supervisors and work crews and who understand the importance of following site safety procedures. Applicants must have a valid Iqama and provide Muqeem, Insurance, CR, and a medical report with a QR code. The advertisement also specifies that the original passport is required. Candidates should ensure that all submitted documents are genuine, current, and available for verification. Applicants should apply only if their qualifications and approvals match the requirements of the position.

Applicant Safety & Verification

Candidates should check this urgent requirement immediately and contact the supplier directly using the provided numbers. Before proceeding, verify the Jubail project, room-to-room duty, hourly rate, salary payment schedule, SEC approval requirement, and complete document list. Because the advertisement requests an original passport, candidates should clarify why it is required, who will retain it, and when it will be returned before handing over the document. Candidates should visit the office personally or request proper company and project documentation before accepting employment. Registration with the Ajeer Chamber Company is mandatory where applicable, and applicants should confirm the required registration procedure with the employer or supplier. Never pay anyone who asks for money in exchange for job selection, employment, documentation, approval, or mobilization. Recruitment scams exist in Saudi Arabia, so remain alert, submit only genuine documents, follow the official process, and protect yourself from fraud.
