Rigging Duties and Site Responsibilities

Typical duties include inspecting lifting accessories, selecting suitable rigging equipment, securing and balancing loads, attaching and detaching loads safely, guiding crane operators through approved signals, and maintaining safe working distances during lifting activities. The rigger must follow approved lifting procedures, use appropriate personal protective equipment, identify unsafe conditions, and coordinate effectively with crane operators, supervisors, and other site personnel.
Qualifications, Experience and Required Documents
