Main Duties and Work Responsibilities

Manlift Operators are responsible for safely operating aerial work platforms to lift workers and equipment to elevated work areas. Their duties may include inspecting the equipment before use, positioning the manlift correctly, following site instructions, maintaining safe operating distances, and ensuring that the platform is used within its approved limits. Helpers support skilled workers and site teams with material handling, work-area preparation, equipment movement, cleaning, and other assigned general duties. Rigger Level 3 workers assist with lifting and rigging operations, including securing loads, checking lifting accessories, guiding suspended loads, and coordinating with crane operators and other lifting personnel. All workers must follow project safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have relevant practical experience for their selected position. Manlift Operators should be capable of safely operating aerial lifting equipment and following site-specific equipment and safety procedures. Helpers should be physically capable of performing general site-support duties and following instructions from supervisors.
