Heavy Driver ECGTEC Engineering

ECGTEC Engineering & Contracting is seeking a Heavy Driver for an urgent project in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. The position offers a rate of SAR 18 per hour and is planned for a four-month project duration. Heavy Drivers play an important role on construction and industrial projects by safely transporting equipment, materials, and other heavy loads between designated areas. The role requires responsible vehicle operation, careful attention to road and site conditions, and strict compliance with company and project safety procedures. Candidates should hold the appropriate driving licence and possess relevant experience operating heavy vehicles. The company will provide Food, Accommodation, and Transportation (FAT), while payment will be processed 45 days after the timesheet according to the stated project terms.

Driving Duties & Responsibilities

The selected Heavy Driver will be responsible for operating assigned heavy vehicles safely and efficiently during project activities. Duties may include transporting materials, equipment, and other loads to and from designated locations while following approved routes and site instructions. The driver should conduct routine checks of the vehicle before operation, ensure that the vehicle is suitable for the assigned task, and report mechanical defects or safety concerns to the responsible supervisor. Safe loading and unloading practices must be followed, with attention given to load security, vehicle capacity, site traffic rules, and surrounding personnel. The driver should maintain proper documentation and comply with project safety requirements throughout the assignment. Experience & Eligibility Requirements
