Job Overview
These positions are essential for supporting industrial construction, electrical installation, and commissioning activities on major oil and gas projects. Work Permit Receivers (WPRs) ensure that work is performed safely under approved permit systems. Conduit Fitters install and assemble conduit systems for electrical wiring, while WPR Electrical personnel supervise electrical work permits in accordance with project safety requirements. Tube Fitters install and maintain tubing systems used in instrumentation and process plants, particularly on Saipem projects.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Selected candidates will perform duties according to their assigned trade while complying with project specifications and safety regulations. Aramco WPRs will manage work permits and verify site safety before work begins. Conduit Fitters will install conduit systems, interpret drawings, and ensure proper routing of electrical installations. Sabtank Approved WPR Electrical personnel will coordinate electrical permit activities and monitor safe work practices. Tube Fitters will fabricate, install, and test tubing systems, read technical drawings, and support instrumentation installation while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Applicants should have relevant experience in the position they are applying for. Tube Fitters must have previous Saipem project experience. Ajeer is mandatory for Conduit Fitters, while Sabtank Approval is required for WPR Electrical candidates. Chamber registration is mandatory for all positions. Candidates must also have an Iqama and Muqeem with at least three months of validity and bring their original passport along with a full set of colour copies of all required documents.
