Badaie H. General Contracting Est. (BGC) is urgently recruiting workers for a SABIC shutdown project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The requirement includes positions for multi welders, instrument technicians, fitters, fabricators, permit receivers, riggers, standby men, fire watchers, and bolt torque technicians. A total of 77 positions are available across the listed categories.
SABIC shutdown experience is mandatory for this recruitment, and candidates must have at least three years of relevant shutdown experience. Ajeer is also mandatory. The positions are specifically for shutdown work in Jubail, and candidates attending the interview must bring their original passport.
Key Responsibilities
CS and SS Multi Welders will perform TIG and arc welding activities on carbon steel and stainless-steel components according to project specifications and safety procedures. Instrument Technicians will support installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems during shutdown activities.
Pipe and Structure Fitters and Fabricators will carry out fitting, fabrication, alignment, and assembly work involving piping and structural components. Permit Receivers, or Work Permit Receivers, will manage work permit requirements and coordinate safe work activities according to shutdown procedures.
Riggers will support lifting and material-handling operations according to their respective TUV levels. Standby Men and Fire Watch personnel will monitor designated work areas and support safety requirements during hot work and other shutdown activities. Bolt Torque Technicians will perform controlled bolting and torque-related work according to project requirements.
Skills and Experience
Candidates must have a minimum of three years of SABIC shutdown experience, and this experience must be clearly reflected in the CV. Ajeer is mandatory for all listed positions. Applicants should have relevant practical experience and appropriate qualifications or certifications for their specific trade.
TUV certification is specifically required for the Rigger 1 and Rigger 3 positions. Candidates applying for welding, instrumentation, fitting, fabrication, permit receiving, fire watch, standby, and bolt torque positions should have relevant project experience.
