Job Description

Safety Managers are responsible for leading and implementing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management systems across project sites. They develop safety strategies, oversee compliance with regulations, supervise safety teams, conduct risk assessments, and ensure all project activities are carried out safely. The role requires strong leadership skills and extensive experience in managing workplace safety on large-scale industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidates will establish and enforce HSE policies, lead safety inspections and audits, identify workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments, investigate incidents, prepare safety reports, ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements, supervise Safety Officers, organise safety training programmes, and promote a strong safety culture throughout the project.

Skills and Professional Qualifications

Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience as a Safety Manager or in a senior HSE leadership role on construction, oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial projects. Strong knowledge of international HSE standards, hazard identification, incident investigation, and safety management systems is essential. Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills are highly preferred.
