Main Duties & Responsibilities
The selected Manlift Operator will be responsible for operating the assigned manlift according to approved site procedures and safety requirements. Before starting work, the operator should inspect the equipment, check controls, tyres, hydraulic systems, emergency functions, and other important components to identify any visible problem. During operations, the operator must position the machine correctly, maintain safe clearance from structures and other equipment, and follow instructions from supervisors and authorized personnel. The operator may assist workers in reaching elevated work locations while ensuring that the platform remains stable and within permitted operating limits. Safe movement of the machine around industrial areas, construction zones, and work sites is also an important responsibility. Operators must remain alert to overhead obstructions, electrical hazards, uneven surfaces, weather conditions, and nearby personnel. Any equipment malfunction or unsafe condition should be reported immediately. Following PPE requirements, site safety rules, traffic controls, and project instructions is essential throughout the assignment.
Required Skills, Certification & Experience
