Key Responsibilities
The Mobile Crane Operator will safely operate mobile cranes according to the assigned lifting requirements and project procedures. Duties include conducting pre-operation equipment checks, positioning the crane correctly, operating lifting controls, coordinating with riggers and banksmen, maintaining safe load handling practices, and following site safety regulations. Operators must immediately report equipment problems or unsafe conditions to the responsible supervisor.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates should have proven experience operating mobile cranes with capacities between 80 and 200 tons. They should understand lifting procedures, load capacity, crane stability, safety requirements, and communication signals used during lifting operations.
