Crane Operators are responsible for safely operating heavy lifting equipment on construction and industrial projects. MFA Contracting Company is urgently recruiting experienced Crane Operators for a long-term project in Nariyah. The requirement is specifically for operators with experience on 80-ton Zoomlion cranes from the 2025–2026 new model range. Candidates must have the appropriate heavy equipment licence and relevant operating knowledge. The company will provide FAT, while payment will be made on a timesheet basis after 45 days.
Main Duties and Crane Operating Responsibilities
Crane Operators are responsible for safely operating and controlling heavy lifting equipment to move, raise, lower, and position materials according to approved lifting procedures. Their duties include conducting pre-operation inspections, checking controls and safety systems, understanding load requirements, and ensuring the crane is positioned safely before lifting. Operators must communicate effectively with riggers and signalmen, follow lifting plans and site instructions, monitor surrounding hazards, and stop operations when unsafe conditions arise. Proper equipment handling and adherence to site safety procedures are essential throughout every lifting operation.
Skills, Experience and Candidate Requirements
Applicants should have practical experience operating 80-ton Zoomlion cranes, specifically the 2025–2026 new model, as stated in the recruitment requirement. Candidates should understand crane controls, load handling, basic equipment inspection, lifting safety, and communication with ground personnel. A valid Heavy Equipment Licence is mandatory. Applicants must also provide a valid Absher Iqama, updated Muqeem, Insurance, and Medical documentation.
