Position Overview

Safety Officers are responsible for promoting a safe and healthy working environment by implementing occupational health and safety policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and Saudi safety regulations. On industrial and construction projects, they play a key role in preventing workplace accidents, identifying hazards, and maintaining a strong safety culture. Their efforts help protect workers, equipment, and project operations while ensuring compliance with legal and project safety requirements.

Main Responsibilities

Selected candidates will conduct daily workplace inspections, identify potential hazards, and recommend corrective actions to eliminate safety risks. They will monitor workers’ compliance with safety procedures, organize toolbox talks, inspect personal protective equipment (PPE), investigate incidents, and prepare safety reports. Safety Officers will also assist in emergency response planning, maintain HSE documentation, and coordinate with supervisors to ensure all work activities are carried out safely and according to project standards.

Required Skills and Professional Qualifications

Applicants should have relevant experience as a Safety Officer on industrial or construction projects. A valid NEBOSH Certificate is mandatory for this position, and candidates should have a registered Safety Profession. Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, hazard identification, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures is highly preferred.
