NAC is currently seeking qualified candidates for an urgent Safety Officer position in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This is a long-term opportunity with immediate mobilization and room-to-room duty. The position is suitable for an experienced safety professional who holds a valid NEBOSH qualification and can work effectively in an industrial project environment. The offered rate is 22 SAR per hour, with payment provided on a monthly salary basis.
Key Responsibilities
The selected Safety Officer will be responsible for monitoring workplace safety conditions, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring that workers follow established health and safety procedures. The role may involve conducting routine site inspections, supporting toolbox talks, checking the proper use of personal protective equipment, and reporting unsafe conditions to the responsible management team. The Safety Officer will also help maintain safety records, encourage compliance with project requirements, and take appropriate action when unsafe practices are identified. Because the assignment involves room-to-room duty, the candidate should be prepared to work across assigned areas as required by the project.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants should have relevant experience in occupational health and safety and possess an original NEBOSH certificate, which is specifically required for this vacancy. Candidates should have good knowledge of workplace hazard identification, risk prevention, site safety practices, and basic safety documentation.
