Crane Operator
An experienced Crane Operator is required for an urgent industrial opportunity in Hufof, Saudi Arabia. The position involves operating a Tadano crane with a capacity range of approximately 50 to 80 tons, making the role important for lifting, shifting, and positioning heavy materials and equipment safely at the project site. As the vacancy specifies Aramco approval, candidates with relevant Aramco project experience and familiarity with industrial lifting standards may have an advantage. Crane operations require precision, strong awareness of surrounding conditions, and strict compliance with approved lifting procedures. The successful candidate should be capable of handling assigned lifting activities responsibly and coordinating effectively with riggers, lifting supervisors, and other site personnel.
Main Work Responsibilities
The Crane Operator will be responsible for safely operating the assigned Tadano crane during lifting and material-handling activities. Duties may include checking the crane and its operating condition before starting work, understanding the lifting requirements, positioning the equipment appropriately, and carrying out lifting operations according to approved instructions. The operator should maintain effective communication with riggers and signalers while moving loads and should stop operations whenever unsafe conditions arise. Careful attention must be given to load capacity, ground conditions, crane stability, lifting radius, weather, overhead obstructions, and personnel working nearby. The operator will also be expected to follow site safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment, complete routine checks, and immediately report mechanical or operational issues to the responsible supervisor.
Qualifications & Practical Knowledge
Candidates should have practical experience operating mobile cranes, particularly Tadano equipment in the 50–80 ton range. A valid crane operator certification or license is preferred, as stated in the vacancy. Applicants should understand safe lifting practices, crane capacity limitations, load charts, signaling procedures, equipment inspections, and basic site safety requirements. Experience working on Aramco-approved projects can be beneficial because industrial sites require strict compliance with established safety and operational procedures. Candidates should be physically capable of performing the duties associated with crane operation and should demonstrate responsible decision-making when handling heavy loads. Applicants should confirm their certification, experience, Aramco approval status, and other employment requirements directly with the supplier before proceeding.
