Lifting Duties & Responsibilities

The rigger may connect and disconnect loads, guide suspended materials, communicate with crane operators through approved signals, and help maintain safe exclusion zones around lifting activities. Proper housekeeping, correct use of personal protective equipment, and compliance with site safety procedures are also important parts of the role.
