Electrical and Instrumentation Responsibilities
E&I Foremen will supervise electrical and instrumentation teams, distribute daily work, coordinate manpower, monitor progress, and ensure assigned activities are completed according to project specifications and safety procedures. They may also coordinate installation, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspection activities with supervisors and other departments. E&I Technicians will perform practical electrical and instrumentation tasks, including installation, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment connections, and supporting commissioning or repair activities where required. Both categories must understand workplace safety procedures, use appropriate tools and PPE, follow technical instructions, and maintain quality standards. Effective communication and teamwork are important because E&I activities often require coordination with mechanical, civil, piping, and other site teams.
Skills, Experience and Document Requirements
Candidates should possess practical experience relevant to their selected E&I position. E&I Foremen should have sufficient technical knowledge to supervise technicians, coordinate site activities, and manage daily work requirements. E&I Technicians should understand electrical and instrumentation equipment, installation procedures, testing methods, troubleshooting, and safe work practices. The employer has specified Ajeer as an important requirement, with different rates for candidates with and without Ajeer.
