Pipe Fitter and Fire Watcher

Pipe Fitters and Fire Watchers are important positions in industrial, construction, and oil and gas projects, where technical work and strict safety practices must be maintained together. Pipe Fitters handle the installation, assembly, and adjustment of piping systems, while Fire Watchers monitor hot work activities such as welding, cutting, and grinding to prevent fire-related incidents. Both roles require responsible workers who can follow site procedures, coordinate with supervisors, and maintain high safety standards throughout the project. These positions are being recruited for a long-term project in Abu Ali with company-provided FAT.

Main Responsibilities

Pipe Fitters are responsible for measuring, cutting, aligning, assembling, and installing pipes, fittings, valves, and related components according to drawings and project requirements. They must ensure proper alignment and safe installation while coordinating with other construction trades. Fire Watchers are responsible for continuously monitoring hot work areas, identifying potential fire hazards, keeping fire extinguishing equipment readily available, and immediately reporting unsafe conditions. Fire Watchers with Aramco experience should understand applicable site safety procedures and remain attentive throughout their assigned duty. Both positions require teamwork, punctuality, discipline, and compliance with workplace safety requirements.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Pipe Fitter applicants should have practical experience in industrial piping work and be familiar with pipe installation, fittings, measurements, tools, and safe working practices. A Vendor Code is mandatory for this recruitment. Fire Watcher applicants must have a Vendor Code and Aramco experience, along with the ability to monitor hot work operations carefully. Candidates must have an Absher Iqama and Muqeem with at least three months’ validity. The required paperwork includes an original passport, CV, photograph, passport copy, medical report, insurance, CR, and GOSI. All documents must be consolidated into one PDF for processing.
