Position Overview

Safety Officers are responsible for promoting a safe working environment by implementing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies across construction and industrial projects. They monitor workplace activities, identify potential hazards, and ensure that all employees follow company safety procedures and regulatory requirements. Their role is essential in preventing workplace accidents, protecting workers, and maintaining compliance with project safety standards.

Main Responsibilities

Selected candidates will conduct routine site inspections, identify unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions to minimise workplace risks. They will monitor compliance with safety regulations, organise toolbox talks, inspect personal protective equipment (PPE), investigate incidents, and prepare daily and weekly safety reports. Safety Officers will also assist with emergency response planning, maintain HSE documentation, and work closely with supervisors to ensure that all activities are performed safely and in accordance with company procedures.

Required Skills and Professional Qualifications

Applicants should have relevant experience as a Safety Officer on construction or industrial projects. Candidates must possess a valid AJEER registration and a Valid Iqama. Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, hazard identification, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures is highly desirable.
