Job Description
Safety Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe working environment by implementing health and safety policies, monitoring site activities, and ensuring compliance with company and project regulations. They play a vital role in preventing workplace accidents, promoting safe work practices, and ensuring that employees follow all applicable safety procedures throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will conduct routine site safety inspections, identify workplace hazards, enforce safety regulations, investigate incidents, prepare safety reports, conduct toolbox talks, monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and coordinate with supervisors to ensure all work is carried out safely. They will also assist in maintaining compliance with project safety standards and contribute to improving overall workplace safety performance.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants should have relevant experience as a Safety Officer in construction or industrial projects. They must possess a valid Iqama and valid Insurance. Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety practices, hazard identification, risk assessment, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are highly desirable. Candidates who are available for immediate mobilisation will receive preference.
