Rigger Level 2

A Rigger Level 2 is responsible for supporting safe lifting, shifting, and positioning of heavy equipment and materials at industrial and construction sites. Rigging work requires careful preparation, knowledge of lifting equipment, proper communication with crane operators, and strict compliance with site safety procedures. This urgent vacancy is for experienced Rigger Level 2 personnel for a long-term project in Nariyah-2. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience and possess a valid original TUV certification. Key Duties and Responsibilities

The Rigger Level 2 will assist with the preparation and execution of lifting operations according to approved site procedures. Main duties include inspecting slings, shackles, hooks, chains, and other rigging equipment before use and selecting suitable lifting accessories according to the load and lifting requirements. The rigger will properly secure and balance loads, guide crane operators using recognized hand signals or communication methods, and maintain a safe exclusion area during lifting activities. The role also requires following instructions from lifting supervisors and ensuring that materials are positioned safely at their designated locations. Any damaged equipment, unsafe condition, or potential lifting hazard must be reported immediately. Maintaining good housekeeping and following all project safety requirements are also essential responsibilities.

Required Experience and Skills

Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant rigging experience, preferably in industrial, construction, oil and gas, or similar projects. A valid original TUV certificate is mandatory for this vacancy. Candidates should have practical knowledge of lifting accessories, load handling, basic lifting plans, safe rigging techniques, and workplace safety procedures. Good coordination with crane operators, supervisors, and other site personnel is important because lifting operations depend on clear communication and teamwork.
