Position Overview
An Aramco Rigger I is responsible for planning and carrying out safe lifting and rigging operations on construction and industrial projects. The role involves selecting appropriate lifting equipment, inspecting rigging gear, guiding crane operations, and ensuring all lifting activities comply with Aramco safety standards. Rigger I personnel play a critical role in preventing lifting accidents and ensuring heavy materials are moved safely and efficiently across the project site.
Main Responsibilities
The selected candidate will inspect slings, shackles, hooks, and other lifting equipment before use, ensuring all rigging gear is certified and in good condition. They will prepare lifting plans, attach and secure loads correctly, guide crane operators using standard hand signals, monitor lifting operations, and maintain safe exclusion zones around lifting activities. The Rigger I will also comply with Aramco lifting procedures, report unsafe conditions, maintain lifting records, and work closely with supervisors and crane operators to ensure all lifting activities are completed safely and efficiently.
Required Skills and Professional Qualifications
Applicants must be Aramco Approved Rigger I with relevant industrial lifting experience. Candidates should have strong knowledge of lifting equipment, load calculations, rigging techniques, hazard identification, and Aramco safety procedures. A Vendor Code is mandatory for this recruitment. Applicants must submit a fully updated CV, all required employment documents, and relevant trade certificates.
