Key Responsibilities
Safety Inspectors will monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Their duties include conducting site inspections, identifying hazards, preparing safety reports, investigating incidents, delivering toolbox talks, ensuring compliance with HSE procedures, and promoting a safe working environment across the project. Process Safety Engineers will be responsible for managing process safety risks, conducting hazard assessments, participating in HAZOP, HAZID, and LOPA studies, performing Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA), analysing gas dispersion scenarios, reviewing safety systems, and ensuring compliance with international process safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants for the Safety Inspector position must possess an Engineering Degree or a three-year Diploma in Engineering or Safety, along with at least eight years of construction safety experience, preferably on Saudi Aramco projects. A valid NEBOSH IGC certificate, excellent HSE knowledge, computer proficiency, report writing skills, and strong English communication abilities are mandatory. Process Safety Engineer candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of fifteen years of professional experience, including at least ten years in process safety. Practical experience with QRA, HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, PHAST, SAFETI, and Gas Dispersion Analysis is essential.
