Multi Welder, Pipe Fabricator, Pipe Fitter, Fire Watch, Rigger III, Work Permit Receiver (WPR), Safety Officer, Piping Supervisor

Multi welders, pipe fabricators, pipe fitters, fire watch personnel, Aramco riggers, Work Permit Receivers, safety officers, and piping supervisors each contribute to the safe and efficient execution of industrial piping and construction activities. The current requirement from SKA covers 200 positions for the Amiral Project, including skilled trades, safety personnel, lifting specialists, permit coordination, and supervisory staff. These roles support different stages of project execution, from fabrication and welding to installation, lifting operations, worksite safety, and field supervision. A coordinated workforce is particularly important on large industrial projects where multiple trades operate simultaneously and work must remain aligned with approved procedures, schedules, and safety requirements.

Key Functions Across the Workforce

Multi welders are responsible for producing quality weld joints according to approved procedures, drawings, and project specifications, while pipe fabricators prepare and assemble piping components through cutting, fitting, and fabrication activities. Pipe fitters install, align, and connect piping systems and associated components. Fire watch personnel monitor designated hot-work areas for sparks, flames, or other potential fire hazards and maintain required safety controls during welding and cutting operations. Aramco Rigger III personnel handle lifting and rigging activities, including load preparation, signaling, and safe movement of materials. Work Permit Receivers coordinate permit requirements and ensure work is performed within authorized conditions. Safety officers monitor workplace compliance and hazards, while piping supervisors coordinate crews, work sequences, productivity, and field activities.

Skills, Experience & Technical Knowledge

Candidates should possess practical experience corresponding to their respective trade and understand the procedures applicable to industrial project environments. Welders should be familiar with approved welding procedures, joint preparation, welding equipment, and quality requirements. Pipe fabricators and fitters should understand piping drawings, measurements, fittings, alignment, and installation methods. Riggers require sound knowledge of lifting practices, rigging equipment, signaling, and load-control procedures. Work Permit Receivers and safety officers require familiarity with permit systems, hazard identification, workplace controls, and relevant Aramco requirements. Piping supervisors should have sufficient technical and supervisory experience to coordinate multiple field activities and work crews. Candidates should maintain valid employment and identification documents for verification and mobilization.

Amiral Project & Site Working Conditions

All listed positions are assigned to the Amiral Project. Industrial project environments can involve active fabrication areas, piping installation zones, lifting operations, hot-work locations, heavy equipment, and controlled work areas. Personnel may therefore need to coordinate closely with other trades while following site access, safety, permit, and operational procedures. The stated work arrangement is room to site duty, indicating that accommodation-to-site movement is part of the working arrangement. Given the range of positions involved, effective coordination between skilled trades, safety personnel, lifting teams, permit staff, and supervisors will be necessary to maintain safe and organized project execution.
