Sultan Mohammed Al Dhafeeri Cont. Est. (SMDC) has announced an urgent requirement for 85 workers for a long-term construction project in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The vacancies include Helpers, Carpenters, Steel Fixers, Plaster Masons and Concrete Masons. The Helper position offers SAR 9 per hour, while the skilled construction positions offer SAR 12 per hour. Candidates must have at least five years of relevant experience in the position they are applying for, and an interview will be conducted. The company provides food, accommodation and transportation, while the salary payment period is stated as two months and 20 days.

Construction Roles & Responsibilities

Helpers will support skilled construction workers by handling materials, preparing tools and assisting with general site activities. Carpenters will carry out formwork, wooden construction and related carpentry activities according to project requirements. Steel Fixers will cut, bend, position and secure reinforcement steel according to drawings and required measurements. Plaster Masons will prepare surfaces and apply plaster to walls, ceilings and other construction areas. Concrete Masons will assist with concrete placement, finishing and related masonry work. All workers must follow supervisor instructions, maintain quality workmanship and comply with site safety procedures.

Skills & Candidate Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum of five years of genuine experience in their relevant field. Candidates should be able to demonstrate practical knowledge of the trade during the interview.
