Main Duties and Responsibilities
A Carpenter will be responsible for carrying out general carpentry work, including preparing, assembling, and installing wooden structures and related site materials according to project requirements. Steel Fixers will handle reinforcement steel preparation, cutting, tying, positioning, and installation while following construction drawings and site instructions. Stand By Men will assist with monitoring work areas, maintaining awareness of ongoing activities, and supporting site safety requirements. Fire Watch personnel will remain alert during hot work activities, monitor surrounding areas for potential fire hazards, and respond according to established emergency procedures. Helpers will provide general support to skilled workers, assist with material handling, cleaning, shifting equipment, and maintaining an orderly work environment. All workers are expected to follow company instructions, safety procedures, and project rules.
Required Skills and Candidate Knowledge
Candidates should have a valid Absher Iqama and be available to provide the required employment documentation. Previous experience in the relevant trade can be beneficial, particularly for skilled positions such as Carpenter and Steel Fixer.
