Job Description

HSE Officers are responsible for implementing and maintaining workplace health, safety, and environmental standards. They help create a safe working environment by identifying hazards, conducting inspections, enforcing safety procedures, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. This role requires strong communication skills and a proactive approach to accident prevention and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will conduct routine safety inspections, identify workplace hazards, perform risk assessments, ensure compliance with HSE regulations, deliver toolbox talks and safety training, investigate incidents, prepare HSE reports, monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and promote a strong safety culture across the project.

Skills and Professional Qualifications

Applicants must have a minimum qualification of Intermediate along with a mandatory NEBOSH certification. A minimum of three years of relevant HSE experience is required. Candidates should possess sound knowledge of occupational health and safety standards, excellent communication and reporting skills, and the ability to work effectively with project teams to maintain a safe working environment.
