Position Overview
Aramco Safety Officers and Work Permit Receivers (WPR) play vital roles in maintaining health, safety, and operational compliance on industrial projects. Safety Officers are responsible for implementing occupational health and safety policies, conducting inspections, identifying workplace hazards, and ensuring compliance with Aramco safety standards. Work Permit Receivers manage the Aramco Permit-to-Work (PTW) system by coordinating permits, verifying safety requirements, and ensuring that all work activities are carried out safely and according to project procedures.
Main Responsibilities
Selected candidates will perform their duties in accordance with Aramco regulations and company safety procedures. Safety Officers will conduct routine site inspections, organize toolbox talks, monitor workers’ compliance with safety rules, investigate incidents, prepare HSE reports, and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Work Permit Receivers will receive and manage work permits, verify that all safety precautions have been completed before work begins, coordinate with supervisors, maintain permit documentation, and monitor compliance with permit conditions throughout project operations.
Required Skills and Professional Qualifications
Applicants should have relevant experience in industrial or oil and gas projects and must be qualified for their respective positions. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Aramco safety regulations, hazard identification, risk assessment, and permit-to-work procedures. Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are highly desirable.
