Mahdi Contracting Company (MCC) has announced an urgent manpower requirement for 10 personnel for a Saudi Aramco project in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The recruitment notice is dated 2 November 2026 and carries Post No. 002/011/0026-3.
The company is recruiting five Aramco Work Permit Receivers (WPRs) and five Aramco Safety Officers. Rates for both positions will be finalized after the interview. Food and accommodation will be provided by the company. Applicants must submit complete position-specific documents in a single PDF file for initial screening. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Aramco Work Permit Receivers generally receive and implement approved work permits, review permit conditions, and communicate work restrictions and safety precautions to assigned teams. They coordinate with permit issuers and supervisors, ensure workers understand job hazards and control measures, and monitor compliance with permit requirements during work activities.
Aramco Safety Officers generally monitor site safety, conduct inspections, identify hazards, and support the implementation of project safety procedures. Their responsibilities may include toolbox talks, reviewing risk assessments, reporting incidents, monitoring high-risk activities, and coordinating corrective actions with project management and site personnel.
Skills and Knowledge
WPR applicants must provide a full Work Permit Receiver certificate with marks, experience certificates, educational certificates, and a previous Aramco card. An updated CV, valid Iqama copy, passport copy, and updated Muqeem are also mandatory.
Safety Officer applicants must have at least five years of experience supported by an experience certificate. The employer also requires a NEBOSH IGC certificate, Aramco approval letter, relevant safety certificates, and BLS and First Aid certificates issued by the Saudi Heart Association. Updated CV, valid Iqama copy, and passport copy must also be included.
Industry Context
Saudi Aramco projects operate under structured safety and work-control systems. Work Permit Receivers help ensure that activities are carried out within approved permit conditions, while Safety Officers monitor site practices and support compliance with project safety requirements.
Both roles are important in industrial construction and maintenance environments, where coordination between supervisors, work teams, and safety personnel helps control operational risks. Previous Aramco project experience and the required approvals are central to this recruitment.
