Job Overview
A Non-Aramco Safety Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe working environment by implementing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies at construction and industrial project sites. The role involves identifying workplace hazards, conducting safety inspections, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and promoting safe work practices. Safety Officers play a vital role in preventing workplace accidents and protecting employees, equipment, and company assets.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Selected candidates will conduct routine safety inspections, monitor daily work activities, identify potential hazards, ensure workers comply with company safety procedures, investigate incidents, prepare safety reports, conduct toolbox talks, inspect personal protective equipment (PPE), and coordinate with supervisors to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. They will also ensure all safety documentation is properly maintained throughout the project.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Applicants must have a minimum of five years of experience as a Safety Officer in industrial or construction projects. Candidates should possess valid Absher Iqama, Absher Muqeem, Medical Certificate, Insurance, CR, and Chamber registration, which is mandatory for this position.
