An urgent requirement is available for Heavy Drivers in Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia. A total of six Heavy Driver positions are open for candidates with relevant experience operating heavy commercial and construction vehicles. The assignment is initially for three months and is extendable based on project requirements and performance.
Candidates applying for this opportunity must have practical experience driving 32,000-liter water tankers, 24 m³ dump trucks, and Dyna vehicles. The selected candidates will work in Ras Tanura and should be prepared to provide the required employment, project, and driving documentation before joining.
Key Responsibilities
The Heavy Driver will be responsible for safely operating assigned heavy vehicles according to project requirements and Saudi road and site safety procedures. Depending on the assigned duty, drivers may operate 32,000-liter water tankers, 24 m³ dump trucks, or Dyna vehicles for transportation and project-related activities.
Drivers are expected to conduct basic vehicle checks, follow designated routes and site instructions, and ensure that vehicles are operated safely during loading, transportation, and unloading activities. They should also report vehicle defects or operational issues to the responsible supervisor and maintain compliance with project safety requirements.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants should have proven experience operating the specific heavy vehicles mentioned in the requirement. Experience with large-capacity water tankers, dump trucks, and Dyna vehicles is particularly important for this position.
Candidates must possess a valid driving license appropriate for their assigned vehicle and have the required project documentation, including Vendor Code and Service Agreement. Applicants should also have a valid Iqama and be medically fit for the assignment. Good knowledge of safe driving practices, vehicle handling, and site procedures will be beneficial.
