Rigger Level III SAR 14

A Rigger Level III is a skilled lifting professional responsible for preparing, securing, moving, and positioning heavy materials and equipment during industrial and construction operations. Rigging requires a strong understanding of lifting accessories, load handling, communication with crane operators, and strict adherence to workplace safety procedures. The current urgent requirement is for 10 TUV-certified Rigger Level III personnel for the Fadhili Project under NBTC. The position offers a SAR 14 rate, immediate mobilization, and long-term project duration. Candidates must hold valid employment and certification documents and are specifically required to bring their Original Valid Passport when proceeding with the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities

The Rigger Level III will prepare and execute lifting activities according to approved procedures and instructions from lifting supervisors. Responsibilities include inspecting slings, shackles, hooks, chains, and other lifting accessories before use and selecting appropriate equipment according to load requirements. The rigger will secure and balance loads correctly, guide crane operators using recognized signals or approved communication methods, and maintain safe distances and exclusion zones around lifting operations. Candidates must identify damaged or unsuitable rigging equipment and immediately report unsafe conditions to the responsible supervisor. They will also assist with positioning and securing materials at designated locations while maintaining good housekeeping around the work area. Following project safety rules, lifting procedures, and instructions from authorized personnel is essential throughout the assignment.

Required Skills and Professional Knowledge

Applicants should have practical experience in industrial, construction, oil and gas, or similar lifting environments and must hold a valid TUV certification.
