Key Responsibilities
The Rigger Level 3 will support safe lifting and rigging operations by preparing, securing, positioning, and handling loads according to approved procedures. Before lifting activities begin, the rigger should inspect slings, shackles, hooks, and other lifting accessories to ensure they are suitable and free from visible defects. The role requires selecting appropriate rigging methods, understanding load weights and lifting points, and maintaining safe distances from suspended loads. The rigger will communicate effectively with crane operators, supervisors, and other members of the lifting team using approved signals and communication methods. During operations, the selected candidate must remain alert to surrounding hazards, equipment movement, overhead obstructions, and the presence of other workers. Any damaged equipment or unsafe condition should be reported immediately. Following SABIC-related site procedures, PPE requirements, housekeeping standards, and project safety instructions will be essential throughout the assignment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
