The vacancies include Mechanical Fitters, Mechanical Helpers, Rigger Level III workers, and Welders/Fabricators. Shutdown projects require experienced manpower capable of working efficiently within strict schedules because maintenance, inspection, installation, and repair activities must often be completed within a limited period. Main Duties and Responsibilities
Mechanical Fitters will perform mechanical assembly, dismantling, installation, alignment, maintenance, and repair activities according to project requirements and safety procedures. Mechanical Helpers will support fitters and other skilled workers by preparing tools, moving materials, assisting with equipment handling, and maintaining housekeeping. Rigger Level III workers will support lifting and rigging operations, inspect and prepare lifting equipment, guide loads, and communicate with crane operators and site teams. Welders and Fabricators will carry out welding, fabrication, cutting, fitting, and related metalwork activities. All workers must follow supervisor instructions, use appropriate PPE, and maintain safe working practices throughout the shutdown.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Candidates with previous shutdown or industrial project experience are preferred because shutdown environments require workers who can adapt quickly to demanding schedules and coordinated site activities. Mechanical Fitters should have practical knowledge of mechanical equipment, tools, assembly, dismantling, and alignment. Rigger Level III candidates should have suitable rigging knowledge and experience with safe load-handling practices. Welders and Fabricators should have relevant welding and fabrication experience, while Helpers should be physically fit and capable of supporting skilled workers. All candidates must have a valid Iqama and physical Iqama card. An original passport is also required for submission according to the vacancy notice.
