Forklift Operator & Work Permit Receiver

Atheer Energy Company has announced an urgent requirement for Forklift Operators and Work Permit Receivers (WPR) for a project in Jazan, Saudi Arabia. The vacancies are suitable for experienced personnel who can work safely in an industrial project environment and comply with site-specific procedures. The Forklift Operator position requires a 5-ton forklift capability and an SPSP Card, while the WPR position requires Aramco-related approval and carries a rate of SAR 40 per hour. Both roles support important project operations by ensuring safe material movement and controlled execution of permitted work. Shared accommodation, food, and transportation will be provided by the company.

Key Responsibilities

The Forklift Operator will safely operate a 5-ton forklift for loading, unloading, lifting, and transporting materials within the designated work area. The operator should inspect the equipment before use, follow approved operating procedures, maintain awareness of pedestrians and surrounding equipment, and avoid unsafe lifting or movement practices. The Work Permit Receiver will be responsible for receiving and understanding approved work permits, communicating permit conditions to work crews, and ensuring that work is carried out according to specified safety requirements. The WPR must coordinate with supervisors and relevant site personnel and immediately report unsafe conditions or changes that may affect the permitted activity.

Skills and Professional Knowledge

Forklift Operator candidates should have practical experience operating heavy-capacity forklifts and must possess the required SPSP Card. They should understand basic equipment inspection, load handling, safe driving, workplace traffic rules, and lifting limitations. WPR applicants should have relevant industrial experience and understand permit-to-work procedures, worksite hazards, isolation requirements, and safety controls. The vacancy specifically states an Aramco requirement for the WPR position. Candidates should be familiar with workplace safety practices, communicate effectively with supervisors and workers, and follow project procedures carefully. Normal Saudi employment documents are required for both positions and should be genuine and valid.
