Key Responsibilities
Structure Fabricators will be responsible for preparing, cutting, fitting, and assembling structural steel components according to drawings and project specifications. FCAW Welders with 3G-4G capability will perform flux-cored arc welding on structural and metal components. Their duties may include preparing joints, operating welding equipment, maintaining correct welding parameters, and checking finished welds for quality and defects.
Helpers will support skilled workers with material handling, work-area preparation, equipment movement, cleaning, and other general site duties. All workers are expected to follow project safety procedures and cooperate with supervisors and other team members.
Skills and Knowledge
Structure Fabricator applicants should have practical knowledge of structural steel fabrication, measurements, cutting, fitting, and assembly. FCAW Welder candidates should have practical welding ability at 3G-4G positions and understand welding equipment, joint preparation, and safe welding practices.
Helpers should be physically capable of performing general support duties and following instructions from supervisors. For all positions, candidates should understand basic workplace safety and maintain responsible working practices.
