Square Arabia Co. is urgently hiring SABIC Approved Safety Officers for a long-term project in Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is ideal for experienced safety professionals who hold SABIC approval and possess the required professional Iqama designation. Safety Officers are responsible for creating and maintaining a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Candidates who meet the qualification requirements and have complete documentation are invited to attend the office for an interview and document verification.

Key Responsibilities

Safety Officers will be responsible for monitoring daily site activities, conducting routine safety inspections, identifying workplace hazards, and ensuring compliance with company and SABIC safety standards. They will prepare safety reports, conduct toolbox talks, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions to minimize workplace risks.

The selected candidates will also ensure workers use proper personal protective equipment (PPE), maintain safety documentation, coordinate with project management, and promote a strong safety culture throughout the project. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential to perform the role successfully.

Skills and Knowledge

Applicants must be SABIC Approved Safety Officers with relevant experience in industrial or construction projects. The professional Iqama designation must be either Safety Technician or Safety Supervisor. Candidates should have strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, hazard identification, risk assessment, emergency response procedures, and safety reporting.

Applicants must have a valid Iqama, Muqeem, Medical Fitness, Insurance, Business GOSI, Chamber Registration, Vendor Code or Ajeer, and both the original passport and passport copy. Candidates should be professional, safety-conscious, and capable of working effectively in a long-term industrial project.
