A leading company in the maritime industry is conducting a local recruitment campaign for experienced safety professionals in Ras Al Khair, Saudi Arabia. The available positions include Gangway Watch, Fire Watch, and Hot Work Watch – Confined Space. These roles are essential for maintaining workplace safety, controlling site access, monitoring hazardous activities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations during marine and shipyard operations. This recruitment is open only to candidates with transferable Iqama through local transfer.
Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will perform responsibilities according to their assigned positions. Gangway Watch personnel will monitor vessel access points, control entry and exit, verify personnel movement, and maintain security procedures. Fire Watch personnel will observe hot work activities, identify fire hazards, ensure firefighting equipment is available, and respond quickly to emergency situations. Hot Work Watch – Confined Space personnel will monitor confined space operations, ensure workers follow permit requirements, maintain continuous communication, and verify that all safety precautions are implemented before, during, and after work activities.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants should possess relevant experience in maritime, industrial, or shipyard environments. Gangway Watch candidates must have at least three years of experience in marine operations, shipyard activities, or HSE-related roles. Fire Watch candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience in industrial or shipyard environments, while previous Fire Watch experience is preferred. Hot Work Watch – Confined Space candidates should have one to three years of experience in industrial safety or shipyard operations. Valid safety certificates, required safety cards, transferable Iqama, and strong knowledge of safety procedures are mandatory for all positions.
