Position Overview
Aramco Safety Officers and Work Permit Receivers (WPR) are responsible for maintaining safe work environments and ensuring all project activities comply with Aramco safety standards. Safety Officers supervise workplace safety, conduct inspections, identify hazards, and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations. Work Permit Receivers manage the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system by coordinating work permits, verifying safety requirements, and ensuring all authorised work is carried out safely. Both positions are essential for preventing workplace incidents and maintaining operational excellence on industrial projects.
Main Responsibilities
Selected candidates will perform their duties according to Aramco procedures and company safety policies. Safety Officers will conduct routine site inspections, monitor compliance with HSE regulations, organise toolbox talks, investigate incidents, prepare safety reports, and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Work Permit Receivers will obtain and manage work permits, verify that all safety precautions are completed before work begins, coordinate with supervisors and operations teams, maintain permit documentation, and monitor compliance throughout the execution of work. Both positions require effective communication, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Required Skills and Professional Qualifications
Applicants should have relevant experience working on industrial or oil and gas projects and must be qualified for the position they are applying for. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Aramco safety regulations, hazard identification, risk assessment, emergency response procedures, and the Permit-to-Work system. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills are highly desirable.
