Job Overview
Safety Officers are responsible for maintaining safe working conditions by implementing health, safety, and environmental procedures on industrial projects. Marafiq Approved Safety Officers play an important role in ensuring compliance with client safety standards, conducting inspections, identifying workplace hazards, and supporting safe project execution. Their expertise helps reduce risks and maintain a strong safety culture at the workplace.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Selected candidates will conduct daily site safety inspections, monitor compliance with safety procedures, identify potential hazards, prepare safety reports, conduct toolbox talks, verify proper use of PPE, and support emergency response activities. They will coordinate with supervisors and project teams to ensure all work activities follow Marafiq safety requirements. Safety Officers will also maintain safety documentation and promote safe working practices throughout the project.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Applicants must have relevant experience as a Safety Officer and must be Marafiq Approved. Professional Iqama status must be Safety Technician or Safety Supervisor. Candidates should possess valid employment documents, including Iqama, Muqeem, Passport, Medical Fitness, Insurance, Business GOSI, Chamber, and Vendor Code/Ajeer.
