A very urgent recruitment opportunity is available for experienced Safety Officers for a long-term project in Jazan, Saudi Arabia. The requirement is for five Safety Officers, with immediate mobilization for suitable candidates. Safety Officer Responsibilities
Safety Officers are responsible for maintaining safe working conditions at the project site and ensuring that workers follow established health and safety procedures. Their duties may include conducting regular site inspections, identifying workplace hazards, monitoring the correct use of personal protective equipment and reporting unsafe conditions to site management. They may also assist with toolbox meetings, safety briefings, incident reporting and implementation of site safety policies. Strong communication, observation and problem-solving skills are important for maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Candidates should have good relevant experience in safety work and be familiar with common construction or industrial safety practices. Applicants should be able to communicate effectively with workers and supervisors, identify potential hazards and respond appropriately to unsafe situations. Experience with site inspections, risk awareness and safety documentation can be beneficial.
