Key Responsibilities
HSE Supervisors and Officers will be responsible for maintaining safe working conditions and ensuring that site activities comply with applicable HSE regulations, project standards, and approved safety procedures. Their responsibilities include monitoring site HSE performance, identifying hazards, supporting corrective actions, and helping implement project safety requirements. They will also assist with preparing and reviewing HSE documentation and may be required to translate or coordinate safety-related information between English and Chinese. The role requires regular communication with workers, supervisors, contractors, and project management. Safety personnel will also support continual improvement of workplace safety performance and ensure that established procedures are consistently followed across the project.
Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge
Applicants should have relevant HSE experience and strong knowledge of international and global safety standards. A Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Engineering or a related discipline is preferred. Candidates should possess recognized safety certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA, or an equivalent qualification. First Aid or BLS certification is also preferred. Strong communication and coordination skills are essential, particularly for working in multi-contractor environments. Candidates who can communicate effectively in both English and Chinese are preferred; the requirement is not limited to candidates of Chinese origin. Most importantly, applicants must have 3+ Aramco approvals as specified by the recruiter and should be able to provide evidence of their relevant approvals and certifications.
