Key Responsibilities

Permit Receivers will support the permit-to-work process and ensure work is performed under approved conditions. Foremen, fitters, riggers, fabricators, welders, flange technicians, and other skilled workers will carry out their respective shutdown and maintenance duties according to drawings, specifications, safety procedures, and supervisor instructions. Electricians and forklift operators will perform specialized technical or equipment-related tasks while maintaining safe working practices throughout the project.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
The required qualifications vary by position. HSE Officers should hold NEBOSH IGC certification, with a graduate qualification preferred, and have at least five years of SABIC-affiliated Oil & Gas shutdown or turnaround experience; Yanpet, Ibn Zima, and Saudi Kayan experience is preferred. QC Inspectors require a B.E. qualification, five or more years of experience, CSWIP certification and ASNT Level II, with shutdown experience in static equipment, piping replacement, and welding. Static Foremen should have a B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and 3–4 years of SABIC/Aramco Oil & Gas experience. Rigger III, Pipe Fitter, Flangemen, Helper, and Forklift Operator applicants require the stated education and relevant SABIC/Aramco experience. Rigger III candidates must have a valid third-party certificate. Welders require TIC and Alloy/SS qualifications with five-plus years of continuity-record experience, while other roles require the specific technical knowledge mentioned in the vacancy.
