Safety Officer, Civil Foreman, Pipe Fitter, Rigger Level 3, Fire Watch & Work Permit Receiver
ABS Contracting Office has announced an urgent requirement for six categories of skilled and safety-related workers for a long-term project at Jubail SABIC. The vacancies include Safety Officers, Civil Foremen, Pipe Fitters, Rigger Level 3 with TUV, Fire Watch with TUV, and Work Permit Receivers. Each position has an important role in maintaining safe, organized, and efficient industrial operations. Safety and permit personnel help control workplace risks, while foremen coordinate manpower and civil activities. Pipe Fitters support piping work, Riggers handle lifting operations, and Fire Watch personnel monitor areas where fire hazards may occur. Food and room are provided by the company, with the stated salary payment scheduled as 2 months and 20 days.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Officers monitor site conditions, identify hazards, conduct inspections, and ensure workers follow established safety procedures. Civil Foremen supervise civil workers, distribute tasks, coordinate daily activities, and monitor progress and workmanship. Pipe Fitters measure, prepare, assemble, align, and install piping components according to drawings and site instructions. Rigger Level 3 personnel assist with lifting operations by preparing loads, securing rigging equipment, and coordinating safely with lifting teams. Fire Watch workers monitor designated areas for sparks, flames, or other fire hazards and remain prepared to respond according to emergency procedures. Work Permit Receivers manage permit-related activities and ensure that work begins only after required authorizations and safety conditions are confirmed.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants should have practical experience appropriate to their selected position and be comfortable working in an industrial environment, particularly on a SABIC project. Safety Officers should understand hazard identification, workplace inspections, and safety procedures. Civil Foremen need strong leadership and workforce coordination skills, while Pipe Fitters should understand piping tools, fittings, measurements, and installation methods. Rigger Level 3 candidates must have suitable TUV experience and knowledge of safe lifting and rigging practices. Fire Watch applicants require awareness of hot-work hazards and fire-prevention procedures, with TUV specified for this vacancy. Work Permit Receivers should understand permit systems and controlled work activities. Discipline, teamwork, communication, and safety awareness are important for all positions.
