Key Responsibilities
Forklift Operators will safely operate assigned forklifts for loading, unloading, transporting, stacking, and positioning materials within the project or industrial worksite. Operators must conduct basic pre-operation checks, inspect equipment for visible defects, follow designated travel routes, and ensure loads are properly balanced and secured before movement. The 2.5-ton operators may work with Toyota, CAT, and Hyster forklift models, while 7-ton operators should be experienced with Doosan and Hyster equipment. Operators must follow lifting and material-handling procedures, maintain safe distances from personnel and equipment, and immediately report mechanical problems or unsafe conditions to supervisors. Accurate handling of materials and careful operation are essential to prevent equipment damage, product loss, and workplace incidents.
