Safety Officer & Work Permit Receiver Madinah

Sultan Mohammed Al Dhafeeri Cont. Est. (SMDC) has announced an urgent requirement for experienced Safety Officers and Work Permit Receivers for a long-term project in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. Two vacancies are available for each position. The Safety Officer role requires Aramco approval, while the Work Permit Receiver position is open to candidates with normal project documentation. Applicants must have at least five years of relevant experience and should be prepared to attend an interview. Food, accommodation, and transportation will be provided by the company.

Role Responsibilities

Safety Officers will monitor site activities, identify workplace hazards, conduct safety inspections, and ensure workers follow approved safety procedures. They will also support toolbox meetings, safety observations, corrective actions, and reporting of unsafe conditions. Work Permit Receivers will coordinate permit-to-work requirements, verify that necessary approvals are in place, and ensure work teams operate within approved conditions. Both roles require strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with supervisors and workers while maintaining safe project operations.

Experience & Job Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of five years of relevant experience in the position they are applying for. Safety Officer applicants must hold Aramco approval, while WPR applicants require normal project documentation. Candidates should have practical knowledge of site safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, hazard identification, and industrial work practices relevant to their respective roles. The Iqama must have at least three months of validity, and candidates must be prepared to submit their passport as required by the employer. An interview will be conducted as part of the selection process.
